Thrio likes to have fun. Their idea of fun consists of writing and playing music. Tracks 1 & 4 are Nolan Schroeder's take on fun. Track 3 is Christopher Jensen's and 2 & 5 are Blake Shaw's. Prepare to have a good time but not too much if you don't want to. We love our family and friends.

Thrio is a trio of musicians based in Eastern Iowa made up of Chris Jensen on drums, Nolan Schroeder on tenor sax and Blake Shaw on double bass/vocals. The group started in the most fun way possible- for fun. After playing a few random pick-up gigs each member agreed to pursue more fun and start writing and collaborating on original compositions as well as some unique spins on jazz standards. ... more
