Thrio is a trio of musicians based in Eastern Iowa made up of Chris Jensen on drums, Nolan Schroeder on tenor sax and Blake Shaw on double bass/vocals. The group started in the most fun way possible- for fun. After playing a few random pick-up gigs each member agreed to pursue more fun and start writing and collaborating on original compositions as well as some unique spins on jazz standards.
